I am a human-centered technologist combining systems engineering with experience design to build tools that broaden and extend human capabilities.
These tools perceive what is happening in the world, synthesize that data to extract meaning, and empower people to understand and take action.
Over the past 15 years, I have designed and built a wide variety of communication, collaboration, and control systems for clients ranging from government institutions and Fortune 500 companies to universities and nonprofit organizations.
These systems have taken many forms, but they always put people first.
In August of 2020, I earned my Master’s degree from Carnegie Mellon’s School of Computer Science. The curriculum mixes Computer Science with Design as well as Behavioral Research.
I took additional electives in Machine Learning, IoT Prototyping, and Visualization Methodology.
In 2004, I completed my degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland's A James Clark School of Engineering with a concentration in Multimedia Signal Processing.
I received citations in Music Studies and University Honors as well as serving as an officer of Eta Kappa Nu Honor Society.
